Re: page copy

This one works for me most of the time. Occasionally the content will shift a couple of millimeters for some reason, but most of the time it does it's job.

Re: Submit point Pitstop Action

I'm talking about the hold you can put on a connection in order to set up your condition with variable, not a Hold job. If you put a hold on a connection, wait until the file reach that point in the flow and then stop the flow you have a sample job in the flow that you can use for setting up conditi...

Re: Submit point Pitstop Action

All information entered in the Submit point is accessible as Metadata in Switch. If you put a hold in the flow and then submit a file and waits until it reaches the hold, you can then stop the flow and use Define condition with variables and the go to Metadata - Text - Build location path and select...

Re: Inject Job (Job repository)

Still doesn't work Jan... Now I get the path as \\192.168.1.11\whatever\wherever, but I still get the same error... Update: It turns out that the flow works correctly if the dumbass who build it enters the correct ip-address for the server...   The correct ip-address in this case is ...

Inject Job (Job repository)

On a Mac you could just point to /Volumes/whatever/everever/, but on Windows if you choose a folder on a mapped network drive the flow doesn't start, so I'm trying to use single line with variables defined using //192.168.1.11/whatever/wherever, but Switch fails to inject the files because file or f...

Creating low res pdfs

I have a flow that at one stage of the flow creates a low res pdf. When we had Switch running on a Mac this worked perfectly, however since we moved to Windows the destiller will fail with this error in messages: "Error while distilling file 'C:/Users/Admin/AppData/Roaming/Enfocus/Switch Server/back...

Re: Check if User Pass Protected for Opening

Arthur, it looks like you can route the files from the Problem jobs folder by simply doing an Include these jobs - Define condition with variables and then set Contition to Job > FailMessage - Contains - Unknown Encryption password ;)

Re: Check if User Pass Protected for Opening

If you are to use it in Switch, then you should be able to create a preflight report (report type XML) and use the XML to look for that error in order to route those files where you need them to go while the rest go on their own merry way...

Re: Check if User Pass Protected for Opening

A preflight profile that checks Document > Security usage > Any will give you an error if any security features, including password protection for opening the pdf, are used. I created a hotfolder, dropped a password protected file in the input folder and got a report in the Reports on error folder w...

Re: Page Orientation

Hi Robbie. It's funny it works with portrait and mixed pages, but not with landscape only. I did however find a couple of things that I changed to make it work better. In the second of the 05 text invoegen the first Select by page orientation it's set to Landscape, but should be Portrait. In the Add...

Re: Page Orientation

Unfortunately I cant save it as an older version, but what I did was to change the orientation in your Select pages by orientation from Portrait to Landscape and then add a NOT after that selection. i.e. the action list looks like this. Select all (This selects all pages) Select pages by orientation...
