Re: Check if User Pass Protected for Opening

If you are to use it in Switch, then you should be able to create a preflight report (report type XML) and use the XML to look for that error in order to route those files where you need them to go while the rest go on their own merry way...

Re: Check if User Pass Protected for Opening

A preflight profile that checks Document > Security usage > Any will give you an error if any security features, including password protection for opening the pdf, are used. I created a hotfolder, dropped a password protected file in the input folder and got a report in the Reports on error folder w...

Re: Page Orientation

Hi Robbie. It's funny it works with portrait and mixed pages, but not with landscape only. I did however find a couple of things that I changed to make it work better. In the second of the 05 text invoegen the first Select by page orientation it's set to Landscape, but should be Portrait. In the Add...

Re: Page Orientation

Unfortunately I cant save it as an older version, but what I did was to change the orientation in your Select pages by orientation from Portrait to Landscape and then add a NOT after that selection. i.e. the action list looks like this. Select all (This selects all pages) Select pages by orientation...

Re: Page Orientation

Robbie: I took the liberty to look at your action list and I think I understand what's going wrong for you. Basically first you Select all and then Select pages by orientation, then in 01 Afmaskeren you again Select all. This means that everything in the pdf is selected, not just on the pages you se...

Re: PDF Review Module %option%

Well, it's useful as long as you're not using å, ä or ö in the name of the outgoing folders. Unfortunately for us that means we have to settle with OK and Felaktig PDF or any similar phrases that doesn't contain å, ä or ö. On the other hand, since we represent less than 0.01 percent of the users we ...

PDF Review Module %option%

If you add the %option% to your URL for approved/rejected/commented pages does the %option% have to be the same thing as the outgoing folder name? I.e. approved/rejected/commented or whatever? If so, that would be a bit disappointing for us non-english speaking, as for instance "Godkänt för tryck" w...

Re: URLencode Body text

I don't know how to replace the spaces with %20, but I'd like to give you a tip regarding the metadata path. If you want to increase readability and make it easier to know what metadata you're actually picking up, you can change the statement from: [Metadata.Text:Path="/field-list/field[1]/value",Da...

Switch 18 u3 on Windows 10 (1809)

Anyone out there running Switch 18 u3 on Windows 10 (1809)? We're in the progress of migrating from Mac OS X to Windows 10, but the program is becoming unresponsive every 5 to 10 seconds on the windows machine. Don't know if it's due to running on a virtual machine or if it's a compatibility issue. ...

Network paths (Switch on Windows)

If you want to point to a folder on a different server than the Switchserver do you have to use Inline value and enter the path as //ip-adress/share/folder? I mapped all servers as network drives and chose X:/folder, but Switch doesn't seem to like that...
