Archive hierarchy issue

I have a flow that archives zip files based on their file names. Basically I have an input folder where the zip-files are placed when jobs are exported from our prepress workflow system. I then have a Set hierarchy path that use that file name to create the path segments before I use Archive hierarc...

Re: Report size of cutting path

Thanks Laurent...
I'll give that one a try.

Update: It works somewhat... The only thing is it reports to total length of the cut path, i.e for a circle that is 400 mm in diameter it reports 1256.64 mm. If possible I'd like the width and height reported, ie. 400x400 mm in this case.

Report size of cutting path

Is it possible to somehow show the size of cutting paths when preflighting?
I'm thinking by perhaps adding an action list and then logging the result somehow.

PitStop 2022 Installation Problem

I was experiencing problems with Adobe Acrobat crashing when I tried to preflight pdf files, so I decided to uninstall Acrobat and reinstall it to see if that would solve the problem. First of all I deactivated my PitStop license. I then uninstalled PitStop as per the instructions found on Enfocus w...

Re: Acrobat DC Update - PitStop Pro Issue

A colleague of mine was able to get in touch with support and after some troubleshooting she got Acrobat_DC_Web_WWMUI.dmg and AcrobatDCUpd2100120155.dmg from Adobe. With these files we could uninstall Adobe Acrobat from our macs and then reinstall the last working version. Of course we had to deacti...

Re: Save as PDF 1.3

The main issue we have is when the customer place an image in a document and then place a CMYK filling on top and add transparency to the filling to change the color tone of the image. In these cases I have to save the PDF as an Acrobat 4, PDF 1.3, pdf for the rip to interpret the pdf correctly othe...

Save as PDF 1.3

I need to save pdf files as Acrobat 4 (PDF 1.3) because the rip for one of our printers is having problems with transparencies.
Preferably I'd like to do it in Switch or with an action list, but I can't figure out how to do it. :?

If I run the action list the pdf will look like it does above, but if I save, close and then open the pdf again it is correct.

Dunno why I didn't try that earlier...

Page Scaling Factor

I have received a couple of pdf files for print from a customer, however the customer has applied a Page Scaling Factor of 10 to the pages, so when I look at the page size it says 23282x28032 mm instead of 2328x2803 mm. If I try to change the Page Scaling Factor to 1 the page size is correct, but th...

Re: A way to convert line fill to 1 line

If you have PitStop 2020 or later you could use the Trace Objects (found under Line Art Editing) to create a new path. The new path will trace along the outside of the line fill, so the difference in size shouldn't be that big. Check Ingore white holes to only get a single path. Make a copy of the o...

Save as Optimised PDF from Adobe Acrobat Professional configurator

Does anyone know if it is possible to save a pdf file as an optimised pdf using the Adobe Acrobat Professional configurator? I can't find any options for it, so I assume you would have to use a script to do it if it's possible, but how would you write the script to save the file as an optimised pdf ...
