Re: Sending files to Sharepoint

I briefly looked into trying to find a way to monitor a folder with files in Sharepoint. But did not find a good solution other than syncing the folder to onedrive. But then the server needed onedrive installed and logged in with the user with access to this folder. Was not a good solution. And it w...

Re: Calling Third Party Application with Element

I would try with the "Execute command". See below. In my case the command fails. Perhaps because I do not have the program. Or the program is not allowed to be on UNC-path. Otherwise try to map the path to a drive-letter if possible. https://d.pr/i/Pqpbp0+ There is also the free app "...

Re: How Can I Set Up Conditional Routing Based on File Metadata?

Oh, damn it. I feel old now… Do not beat your self up. :D It seems like a very legit question. I do not understand what the strategy is with this type of "spam". Is it to spread the link in hopes of some SEO gain? To harvest our minds for an AI model? To get us to click the "invisibl...

I think the original post is spam of some kind.
Notice the period just above "Thanks", which is a link to a webpage.

Imposition in Switch

I would like the forums suggestions for software to do imposition in Switch. My requirements are for offset-printing + label-printing where it would mostly be step and repeat. No need for "AI" to help position items of irregular shape. I am looking at callas PDFToolbox and Quite Hot Imposi...

But now some files has a dark red (or other color) below, where the text should be added. Does anybody have any ideas how I coul...

Re: CSV => line by line API calls

My Switch is running on Windows. Here I use a command line program to split a csv to single lines (https://download.cnet.com/csv-splitter/3000-2074_4-75910188.html). And Easy Data Transform (https://www.easydatatransform.com) running as commandline to convert to XML. Then XML Pickup to get the data ...

Re: Detect Language in a PDF

Maybe the DeepL app can do this: https://www.enfocus.com/en/appstore/product/deepl

Or maybe use some of the apps, which can save the PDF as text and feed the text to an AI app and ask it to return the language.

Re: Adding Lines

If you add it on the first page make them in a Color you can select afterwards. Also add a box based on the media box. Select the lines and media box. Copy. Paste on page two and flip on the center. Remove the box based on the media box. I would add a spot color called Delete and add the box with th...

Re: Place rotated text

Sometimes rotating an object with good positioning could be painful, so alternatively, you could rotate your page, position your text, then rotate-back your page. That is a great idea. I have sometimes used Art Boxes as targets for different placement of graphics. So in this case an Art Box could b...
