Re: Files not accessible
Hello Laurent, Thank you for your quick response! There is indeed an anti-virus application running on the Switch server which scans the processing folders. I'm going to ask our IT manager to rearrange this to the CLI version. If the strange errors still occur or if we need some extra support to get...

Files not accessible
Hi everyone, I have some strange errors occurring in our flows the last few months. Maybe one of you Switch-experts has got an idea what could be the problem. Sadly there is no option for reproducing the errors on command for testing. Sometimes they occur and sometimes they don’t. There are a few sy...

Flow groups are not saved with restart Switch
Hello everyone, Has anybody also encoutered the problem when restarting the complete Switch programm, all the groups with sorted flows are lost? In our total workflow I created some folders/groups and sub-groups with flows for a specific task (like prepress, print, CTP, test, etc.) So I can find and...

Re: Export Filters in the Switch Webportal
Hi,
Thank you for your quick response.
But sadly we didn't got it working.
The bookmark is fine, but the filters are still linked to the user who signed in to the web portal.
Login with an other user, means other filters.
Do you have an other suggestion?
Many Greetings
Mireille

Export Filters in the Switch Webportal
Hello everyone, Is there a way to export all the saved custom filters from the Switch Webportal to can import them by another user? Just like this option in the old Switch Client program. We have a lot of predefined filters for our flows. Hopefully there is a simple way for exporting them, otherwise...

Re: switch-inject-lite
Hello everyone, Does someone have a suggestion which properties I need to use in an Inject-Lite element for checking the existence of a (job)folder? I only get it working with a file, not a folder. Leaving the property "extension" blank doesn't seem to work in my flow. After some investiga...

Re: switch-inject-lite
Hello Gabriel, Is it possible to use "Assert exist" option to check if a (job)folder exists or not? A folder, not a file. When I leave "Job extension" empty (like you can do in the classic "Inject Job" element), The trigger job doens't flow through the Inject-Lite eleme...

Re: Warning 'Skipped unsupported property'
Hi David, Thanks for the reply. Your short term solution option worked. I've installed Callas PDF Toolbox Profiles configurator / version 10 (and removed version 11). And it looks like the flows are running normal again. The first tests were positive, but we can say for sure if everything is OK when...

Re: Warning 'Skipped unsupported property'
Thank you for the replies. Some configurators are working again, the more "simple" elements in our flows. The complex callas configurators with applied reports properties are stil not working. This is the detailed error message we get. Schermafbeelding 2017-03-28 om 14.04.20.png I think it...

Warning 'Skipped unsupported property'
Hello everyone, We're currently using Switch 13, Callas PDF Toolbox, Adobe CC applications and MS Office in our workflow environment. We've just updated Office, Adobe CC and Windows server in general. Everythings seems fine, but while restarting Switch, the configurators were automatically updated a...

Re: Placing a Variable in a Variable
Hello, Thanks for all the replies! It's correct, we are starting from an Excel spreadsheet with all the article details in it for the new order. This document is provided by our customer. We "clean" it up, so all the important data for the workflow remains in the new file and the redundant...

Hello everyone, I'm trying to read some data from my XML dataset attached to my job-file. This is the path I need to use to fetch the data: [Metadata.Text:Path="/dn:Workbook/dn:Worksheet[1]/dn:Table[1]/dn:Row[2]/dn:Cell[1]/dn:Data",Dataset="Xml",Model="XML",Before="...
