Thanks for the responses, I'll try to see what we can do with switch.

Automatically enter PDF password & Change security settings
Hi All,
We receive lots of PDF files that all have the same password. Is it possible to add the known password to a action or global change to then change the security settings?
Thanks
Dan

Moving Pitstop Pro to new PC
Hi All,
We are in the process of building a new PC for Pre-press and want to make sure we move all the settings/anything in the local directories (Actions we have made) to the new machine. Any tips before we do this?
Cheers

Re: dot in XML file name
Thanks Andrew, we have just sorted a way round it using Planet Press to re-name the files before they go through Pitstop server and then re-name them when they come out.
Cheers

dot in XML file name
Hi Everyone, Just trying to configure a smart preflight workflow with variables from our MIS. Problem I'm having is that the matching file names of the PDF's sometimes have a "." in the file name if the job has multiple parts i.e cover.01.pdf, text.02.pdf. When I try to set up the variable...

Re: Checking for text with 1 separation less than x%
Thanks for the reply, I think your suggestion will end up flagging up errors in most files as it's just text that is causing issue. For example if I have a 30% tint of black making up a 4 colour image that's fine, but if there were some small text in 30% Black only then that would cause issue. Thank...

Checking for text with 1 separation less than x%
Hi Guys,
Looking for some advice to add in a pre-flight profile where I can get Pit Stop Server to check if any text is smaller than 7pt and less than say a 70% tint of one separation (normally Black) and flag as error?
Many thanks
Dan
