Somehow that does not feel right. Certainly I should be allowed to use Pitstop without investing in another license when I am traveling. How does every else get by when they are remote?

Install Pitstop pro again on Laptop
I have Pitstop Pro installed on my desktop. I find that often I could use PS when I am out of the office. Can I install the same version under the same license on my laptop? If so, how do I do this?

Re: color not selectable on text line
Thank you. I presume you are referring to a share link to something like Dropbox or Google Drive. I can do that.JimmyHartington wrote: ↑Thu Feb 10, 2022 8:51 am Do not think you can attach a file directly.
But you could use a file sharing service. As long as you can get a public link to share.

color not selectable on text line
I have a pdf file that has orange like highlighter on a line of black text. I can select the text and move the text off of the highlighted orange behind the text. I cannot select the highlighter type color after I have moved the text line off of the color. I have never seen an element that could not...

moving an image on the page
So I am wondering if I am moving elements efficiently.
I often need to move an element and do select it with the Pitstop selection tool; hoever I cannot nudge it with the arrow keys until I select the Acrobat four pointed move tool. Am I doing this incorrectly?

Re: copying image from one file to another
For some reason it worked that time. Pretty sure I always use the green selection arrow. So I have to be more careful I guess.
Next question related....how can I control where the graphic is pasted on the second pdf if I am not replacing a graphic but merely adding?

copying image from one file to another
What is the procedure for copying an image from one pdf file to another? Can't figure out what I am doing wrong. I selected an image in file A, pressed "COPY" and want to paste it in pdf file B. If I can't do that, can I copy an Image in pdf file A to replace an image in pdf file B? -Steve...

Re: convert raster image to pantone color
Please explain the curve idea. Not something I understand. I solved my problem (although I don't know if I did it efficiently) I exported the raster image to a jpg then traced the raster image in Illustrator and saved as a pdf. During that process no background screen artifact appeared, so I was goo...

Training for the new Release in April??
I use Pitstop every day in my work at a Printing Company. However, I think that I could be more efficient if I knew the product better. In April we have a new release scheduled and it has some features that interest me. I looked at the first video posted and am certainly confused. Really :?: So, I a...

Help me fix/extend bleed in Pitstop
I have been given a Microsoft Publisher genterated pdf file that does not have bleed space and the author of the file does not know how to create a bleed space for trimming. I need to print the file with the bleed extended so that I can trim to the 8.5 x11 size. I am not fully trained in Pitstop so ...

Is there a tool to measure the color mix
Is there an Acrobat or Pitstop tool I can use to see the color mix of an object in a pdf. Seems like I saw one that could tell me what the rick black mix is versus what I need it to be. Or for that matter any color combination. And then I could use the global change in Pitstop to correct such. Thank...

fonts used in outlined pdf
I heard that you can use the Pitstop Inspector to find the fonts used in a document even if the document has had the fonts converted to outlines.
If that is so, How?

Re: Changing Print Page Size
No, I was thinking of just trimming the page size to 8.5x11.
What would be the steps to do that?
