PitStop Pro 23.0.1.0 - Action List Visualizer "step by step" doesn't always work
Hello, We've recently updated to PitStop Pro 2023 (23.0.1.0) on Acrobat Pro (2023.006.20360) and have been experiencing some issues with the step-by-step function on the Action List Visualizer. Simply running an action from the Action Lists panel or the Action List Visualizer (when creating/editing ...

Re: NodeJS error since enabling HTTPS (TLS CERT ALTNAME INVALID)
Ah, of course!
I think it might be already blocked, since out IT is very strict about it…
But I'll ask about it and have it blocked if it isn't.
Thanks!

Re: NodeJS error since enabling HTTPS (TLS CERT ALTNAME INVALID)
Solved!
Yes, I had enabled HTTPS for "Web services" and "Remote processing".
I disabled HTTPS on "Remote processing" and it started working. Didn't even need to add the rule do the firewall.
Thank you!

Re: NodeJS error since enabling HTTPS (TLS CERT ALTNAME INVALID)
Of course, having it work is the priority. And yes, I agree that it would be overkill to use Remote process… The scripts we've implemented so far are pretty simple… We're talking receiving text or xml files from a Switch folder, reading and writing new files with metadata, and sending them back out ...

Re: NodeJS error since enabling HTTPS (TLS CERT ALTNAME INVALID)
Wouldn't that slow down processing since the traffic is going through the router and back in? I'm just using the Script element, so I don't think I can define the IP address the call is made to, right? But maybe if I use a Remote Process instead… It seems a bit elaborate for simple scripts (and my s...

NodeJS error since enabling HTTPS (TLS CERT ALTNAME INVALID)
Hello, We've recently enabled HTTPS on Switch (2020 Spring). The Web Portal, Webhooks and external calls to the Web Services are working. However, since then scripts in NodeJS (using VSCode and Node v16.17.0) return the following error: Error [ERR_TLS_CERT_ALTNAME_INVALID]: Hostname/IP does not matc...

General workflow/organization for Switch Flows - Building and updating in Production
Hello, This is a very general and broad question. What I'm looking for is some pointers, resources or tips that can help me figure out the best way for the environment I'm working with. For context, we have a single machine running Switch. I've been working with Switch for a while, but so far only u...

Re: DPD SOAP API
We've been integrating with DPD as well (Portugal), and it will be different, but maybe some of this can be helpful. DPD Portugal still doesn't have a REST API, as far as I know, so we've been using SOAP as well. We ended up using a script (still legacy) to build the XML file, according to the docum...

Re: Dynamically define number of jobs to Assemble
I expect you should be able to access the globaldata from the Assemble Job using a script expression. Have you tried this? I had tried it before, but didn't manage to get it working. After your response I tried it again, but added a line to unlock the GlobalData first, which fixed it. Like so: s.un...

Dynamically define number of jobs to Assemble
Hello, Here at the company we're still new to Switch, we've only had it for a few months. So there's a lot still to learn and figure out as we get more experience. At the moment we are trying to automate a particular task and are having a hard time figuring out how to solve it. We have the licenses ...
