I am using "Make Trace Path (honoring the white holes). I have a combo question, I would like to identify the colors in a raster image in the pdf. Next create the trace path with the color fill same as image. Is this possible?

Ok, but those are swatches inside Illustrator and unused swatches can be removed just as you did. There could be zillions of reasons why those extra colors get there in the first place but if those colors aren't used in the layout, there shouldn't be found in the PDF, so no need for an action list....

There are swatches listed in swatch panel not in art file I am wanting to remove. I could only attached images

I can identify the colors in the pdf , however I would like to remove all the swatches not used in artwork. Is there a way to do this with an action list?

No we do not and I am seeing some documentation that Distiller is not permitted to run on servers.

I have read several post involving postscript conversion. Current work flow has photoshop converting the EPS file to a flattened image. Please recommend a PDF conversion in workflow without flattening the image.

I have a 214 page PDF with variable data and the artwork is set to exact size. I have adjusted my pages to size needed to include bleed. There is bleed available however it is in paths. Is there a way to adjust the paths to allow for the .1875 bleed?

I would like to combine PDF 1( template) and PDF 2 ( artwork). Assign PDF 2 artwork to specific layer on PDF 1, centered. Do I use PDF overlay?

I have a PDF saved from a previous AI template with 4 separate layers. The AIT files was resaved as a PDF. I then open the resaved PDF in Acrobat and assign artwork to certain layer and save. When I open the PDF in Illustrator all of the layers are lost. I understand layers are different in Acrobat ...

This may be the same question as earlier posted. How do you reduce the number of points when using "Make Trace Path". I can reduce the number of points in Illustrator but would like to stay in Pitstop .

I have attempted to remap registration color in an all vector PDF to 100 % black using action list. However it fills all vector with black. It does not recognize elements that have an outline stroke only.
