XMP Inject not updating pdf:Keywords
I am using the XMP inject element to update the pdf:Keywords field in a pdf. This has worked in the past without issues but we are now reprocessing some files and we need to add text such as "updated on : [date field]". I've added all the appropriate information to the element and when I p...

Release files from Checkpoint by date and time
I have a group of files being "held" in a Checkpoint until the date arrives that they can be released. Currently when the day arrives, someone logs in and submits them via the Switch Web portal. I would love to automate that. Is there a way to automatically release files in a Checkpoint ba...

Checkpoint Users
I have a flow that uses a folder submission as input - some files may go to a checkpoint to be reviewed and we want to restrict who can see these files in the checkpoint. I have created users and groups and assigned them to the check point but files I process don't show up when I login using the new...

User experience to fix files
What have you done to create a user friendly experience when files fail in a Switch flow? We're looking for something more than just a email to the user indicating that their file is no good.

Unique Identifier
Here is a question - how would you use Switch to create a unique identifier, alpha numeric, for each document it processes? That information would be used to populate a code that is placed on the doc, possibly bar or data matrix.

Re: Count files in flow folder
Thanks for the feedback. I ended up putting the supplements and the files that need them in separate folders and using the Sort configurator to send them along different paths where I could use the Files.Count data to count files in the folders.

Re: Count files in flow folder
I did try that but Job.FileCount only counts files in a job and I have dismantled the job into individual files so it always returns "1".

Count files in flow folder
I have a flow which starts with folder input. Within the folder is a subfolder called "Supplements". The flow routes all files within the supplements folder to another folder where they are inserted into any files submitted in the job. folder.gif The flow works great when there is a single...

Adobe Acrobat Server
Does everyone here who has Acrobat installed on their Switch server, run the server version of Acrobat? Adobe tells me we need to pay$ for that.
