Re: Check images for flexo against burn-outs < 3%
I haven't knew this one, much obliged.
I works in hightlights exacly as expected.
However for shadows it would need a checkbox sth like "Ignore 100%" - because only the dots between 96% and 99,9 are the real threat.

Path edition: how to add direction handles to a path point?
Hi,
How to convert "sharp" point path to a "soft one", to get direction handles? I mean the control points of a bezier curved path.
That's not cevered in the manual, online nor offline version.
Thanks.

%Page Box Dimensions% in calculated Variable Sets
For some imposition task, I need a Calculated variable, that would be sth like: variable1 (type: length) = input by user upon action run variable2 = %Page Box Dimensions% * variable1 But calculated variable seems not to understand %Page Box Dimensions% It would be splendid to be able to use for calc...

Re: Re-order Pages for Repeat Imposition
If the previous action was "split pages in half", then "reorder pages" tends to be bugged. I made a quick test with the expected sequence: 1,2,3,4, 9,10,11,12,13,14,15,16, 5,6,7,8 After "split pages in half" i am getting : 1,2,3,4, 8 ,10,11,12,13,14,15, 9 ,5,6,7. The &q...

Re: Split Paths In Pitstop
That's probably not the exact thing You're looking for, but maybe it will help: There's an object with the path to cut. Draw a rectangle over the path, select both, and from context menu, choose: Combine and divide shapes > Divide. However, this is an "Area" operation, not "path"...

Re: Convert bunch of RGB images in PDF into specific ICC CMYK
Yes, that's a good hint. For anyone looking, I finally used the factory-made action "Standard > Color > Convert all RGB to CMYK", but with slightly modified ending: … … Override color management settings > > Enable Color Menagement: YES > …. > … > CMYK: np. Fogra 39 > … Convert Color to CM...

Re: Convert bunch of RGB images in PDF into specific ICC CMYK
I suppose it's not achievable with action command...?Override colour management settings with as CMYK output profile the one you need.
So each time, I need to go to go into PitStop Preferences and manually set one of my 11 ICC CMYK profiles?
Well...
Thanks anyway

Measure thin areas in compund paths/texts
Hi, Can PitPreflight against thin areas in complex objects? I am not talking about a stroke width nor the bounding box dimmensions (those ones are easy to check) Take a look, that's what I mean: https://imgur.com/a/dusd0tn Would it be either text or compound path, I need to be able to locate them. Convert bunch of RGB images in PDF into specific ICC CMYK
Hello, forum. Let's say there's a production environment with 2 roto and 1 flexo machine. Most relevant combinations of LPI's, substrates, ink systems, foam softness, gravure angles etc, are properly caputered by ICC profiles. So we have 11 main ICC's. Now, there are a lot of RGB images in input PDF...
