Re: Naming and keeping track of jobs that have been imposed
Ok, this makes sense. I've already implemented Magnus' suggestion and opened up a dialogue with each concerned party, with the goal of building a flow from the ground up with all the desired functionality. Some things I hadn't considered have been brought up, so it's already been fruitful. I'm not s...

Naming and keeping track of jobs that have been imposed
What method do you guys recommend for naming and keeping a log of what jobs go into an imposed layout? Right now we have been moving away from manual setups and doing more with Switch and Griffin Auto. However, the layouts that come out of Griffin I have named with a date and the 5-digit identifier ...

Re: Assemble Job stalling out?
I cannot repeat this behavior (not that I want to), so I guess it was a fluke?
There was a brief period where this kept happening, but as suddenly as it started, it stopped.
Absolutely cannot figure out what was different.
Thanks for the suggestions, though. I will try that if this happens again.

Assemble Job stalling out?
Sometimes this element just does not want to cooperate. I usually set it up to run with 'After N Minutes' set to 1. But sometimes I check the flow, and a bunch of files are piled up in the folder waiting to assemble, and like 10 minutes has gone by. Then I stop the flow and restart it, and it goes t...

Re: Best Methods/Practices for Maximizing Griffin Layout?
Ok, I found it! Under the Repurposing section under Standard.
I swear I typed 'crop' into the search and it didn't come up, but now it does.
Oh well, PitStop gremlins I guess. thanks for the tip this could be really helpful.

I don't see a "crop to visible" action in my list?magnussandstrom wrote: ↑Fri May 02, 2025 4:01 pm Yes, for our use case it works better with "crop to visible". We keep the die cut line in the imposed file, then remove it after the crop.
Are you selecting all and then resizing the crop box to fit the selection?

Re: Best Methods/Practices for Maximizing Griffin Layout?
Can you not just open the layout in Griffin, change the width and height in Layout and add marks? Sorry, I should have mentioned it was Griffin Auto, used in conjunction with Switch. We are adding camera marks but not in the corners, then using Pitstop to crop to visible, then add some margins, the...

Best Methods/Practices for Maximizing Griffin Layout?
Hi all, been working with Griffin for a few months, and I've got some issues I need to solve. A big problem is that Griffin does not fit the layout to the art size when it creates the layout. This can result in a lot of wasted space if there aren't that many products on the sheet. To get around this...

Re: Send Jobs in 2-hour Intervals?
You should be able to do this with one Hold Job element with several outgoing connections, and use "Time-of-day window" on the outgoing connections. Set the first connection to 09:59-10:00, second to 11:59-12:00 and so on. No need to use Inject Job. It works! I had the connections coming ...

Send Jobs in 2-hour Intervals?
Hi all, what would be a good way to send jobs in 2 hour intervals? I'm trying to collect as many jobs as possible before imposing them with Griffin Auto, but I have to keep them working in the shop, so I'd like to send them at 10am, noon, 2pm and 4pm. My first attempt was using Hold Jobs and setting...

Re: Duplicate PDF by using Quite hot impose
Does it have to be duplicated with Quite Hot? I do something very similar where I add -x50, -x3, etc. at the end of the file, and the number is updated dynamically. To duplicate I use the Duplicate app found here: https://www.enfocus.com/en/appstore/product/duplicate The basics are: add number at en...

Re: PitStop won't flip Griffin camera marks and page content together
Sure I can share the action list, although I'm not sure how to attach it here. but as I look closer I think my original premise was flawed. When my layout comes out of Griffin, it has the two pages as shown in my attachments. The second page has the marks flipped as they should. https://i.ibb.co/8ns...

PitStop won't flip Griffin camera marks and page content together
I'm using Switch with Griffin Auto and Pitstop Server. Does anyone have any clue why the below is happening? I have Griffin make the camera marks with my layout and add them to a layer named 'Regmark'. I need to flip the second page horizontally, but I notice the marks don't flip along with the page...

Thanks for the response.
Yes, I was just told as much by someone else. Curses. Lesson learned.
Anyway, I'm off to recreate this flow...
