Re: Unsigned Certified PDF
The Printer can still do some modifications. That would simply add another session to the document history and you would both you and the printer a strong tracking of the document.

Re: Unsigned Certified PDF
Hi, I find it a bit strange that you want the PDF to be certified but not signed because they kind of come altogether. Once signed, this is where you get the highest level of trustability in the file. Why is that that you can not sign in PitStop Pro. Well, in PitStop Pro, you can sign the certified ...

Re: Suggestions on automating preflighting customer supplied art files
Hi, Looks to me that you should have a look at the PitStop Library Container that brings preflight to the Cloud. The PLC (in short) is a Docker Container that you can host on the Cloud to run preflight and Action Lists as soon as the customers upload a file. Have a look at our latest webinar on that...

Re: It the PreflightReportItem ActionID unique?
To confirm Freddy's statement, it's very unlikely that those ID evolve in the future but what could change is the way we expose those IDs. That you never know and this is why you should remain careful when taking advantage of undocumented properties.

Re: Editing Form XObjects
HI, I would question this statement: "The "Add Bleeds" action will sometimes work and sometimes not. " In many cases, when bleed "doesn't work", that is explained by a content being just a tiny bit too far away from the trim and beyond the detection zone. For example, t...

Re: Preflights
HI Erik,
To the exception of preflight profiles and/or Action Lists newer features, PitStop 24.03 items should be compatible with Connect although it uses a former version of PitStop.
If you notice the contrary, let us know.

Re: Node Editing In Pitstop with Coordinate Palette
No worries Bill, I think it's good your company is trying to adopt a complete PDF workflow.
We will keep that noted in order to improve how one can work with paths.
Other requirements welcome!

Re: Node Editing In Pitstop with Coordinate Palette
My bad, indeed it changes the whole path. Can you develop more on your need for tweaking nodes position?

Re: Node Editing In Pitstop with Coordinate Palette
You need to go to the Position Pane:
But this is tricky, you need to edit width/height to "move" the point. If you edit x/y, you actually move the whole path.

Sure you can, just select "Edit Path", select a point on a path (long click), then change props on the Inspector.

Re: overlaping stroks to line
MMmmmm actually that could work but I am not sure to recommend that process:
- Outline paths
- combine shapes
- Use fill to stroke to recreate strokes.
See what it gives but once again, not sure it's smart thing to do.

Hi,
This is not currently possible and while the concept is simple, I am thinking about the possible intricacies.
Do you have many files or is it a one time thing?

Re: Select variable range of pages
Oh my bad then.
NOT is a bit tricky because it selects everything but the selection concerned by the NOT.
I believed it would explain your issues.

Re: Select variable range of pages
Hi Jimmy, I think you need to AND all pages and NOT pages with page label select pages - all select pages with page label NOT AND Do something The AND is necessary because NOT will select "everything" but the pages with page labels (including Document and objects). So AND makes sure that y...
