Re: Custom Reports - Spot Colors Only
The colour chapter contains the information gathered by the "Gather color information" chapter. Like all actions, this will work on selected objects only. When used in a Preflight Profile it will select everything, and hence you'll get all the colour information. But you can use it in an A...

Re: Smooth Shade Axial
There are indeed some ICCBased RGB shadings in that file, but they're well hidden. They're used inside Luminosity softmasks, which means the RGB values are first converted to grey, and then to a transparency value to be applied to other objects. In other words: the fact that they're RGB has no effec...

Re: Spot color picker
There should be a preset called "Color management switched off" which you can apply. Or, in the settings editor, disable the checkbox "Enable color management". Be sure to check the PitStop Pro settings, not Acrobat.

Re: Spot color picker
There might be a problem with your colour management settings - for example a corrupt ICC profile. Try turning colour management off completely, or using the same settings as Acrobat.

Leogirl: bleed generation has changed a lot since this topic was created. In particular, it can now also extend irregular clip paths. If you have a specific problem with this please create a new topic with more details.

Re: Inspector Disappeared / Can't Recover
For as long as I can remember, Windows has had occasional problems with application windows being drawn off-screen. If this is what you're experiencing then the inspector window is coming up, but you cannot see it because it's somewhere outside your monitor. You can try the following: * Try to bring...

"PDF Access Low Level error" usually means the file is corrupt. Try a "save as" in Acrobat or refrying.

Re: Pitstop Action for making Konsberg Cut PDF
This is my poor attempt of an non working action: https://bit.ly/3cuEoLk The Action List Visualiser is very helpful in debugging something like this. It will show the selections on the page as you step through the Action List. With this I noticed the "select fill color" action didn't sele...

Re: Acrobat & Quite a Box of Tricks Color Settings on a PC
In addition to what prepressscott said: you'll also need to specify an RGB profile. Colour conversions always need a source and target; the screenshot you included does not show which RGB profile is being used. The most likely candidates are either sRGB - a de-facto standard for many RGB images - or...

Re: "Apply Gray curve" does not work in some cases
Using the Action List Visualiser you can follow along on the page, seeing which objects are selected. If you do this you'll see that the "Select grayscale images" action does not select the image on the right. This is because it is a 1-bit image. However changing the select to include 1-bi...

Re: Selecting similar images in PDF and having to store them once in the PDF
Optimised save, either in PitStop Server or Acrobat, will do this automatically as long as the images are indeed completely the same on a PDF object level.

Re: PDF Page Size on Scaled/Rotated PDF
It sounds like you are changing only one of the page boxes. PDF has 5, of which 3 are possibly relevant here: media box, crop box, and trim box. Most likely the software using the result files is using either the media or crop box, so try to make sure those are the correct size. In PitStop Server yo...
