Sometimes when PitStop Pro changes things in the document, Acrobat doesn't refresh correctly. Sometimes that's Acrobat being stupid, sometimes it's PitStop not telling Acrobat to update.
Glad you found it .

Re: convert raster image to pantone color
The ideas of both jslater and abailescollins could work quite well, depending on your needs. Here's another option. * If the image is ICC tagged, untag it. * Turn colour management off. * Convert the image to Gray. * Remap (not convert) the image to the spot colour. * If desired, use a curve or chan...

Re: Weird GUI issue with Action lists
You'd get a flat list if the search is active. Do you see a small x in a circle in the search box? If so, try clicking that to clear the search.

Have you looked at Esko's ArtPro+? It has a focus on packaging PDFs.

Re: Random Spot Colors - Convert to CMYK
LasseThid that Action List will convert all spot colours because a check does not change the selection. If you want to only convert spot colours that are not in a specific PANTONE library, you can use "Select spot color" and set it to "Select Spot Color by PANTONE color library"....

Re: Clean up content converting strokes to fills
Change the Select all right before Crop line art to: Select spot color NOT In the spot color selection make it select a spot color by name and fill out or select the Dieline spot color. This will select everything _except_ objects using the Dieline separation. You can also use a regular expression o...

Re: Action list not performed icm preflight
Sorry I misunderstood. The GWG profile contains a number of changes regarding page boxes. In the Profile Editor go to the Action List tab try disabling everything in the "Changes" list and try again. If it works then try re-enabling the change Action Lists one by one to find which one brea...

I don't think you'll be able to do that with PitStop. You probably need something like Esko's Studio https://www.esko.com/en/solutions/flexi ... nk-sleeves

Re: Action list not performed icm preflight
How are you calling the CLI? More specifically, how are you telling it which Preflight Profile and Action List(s) to use? I believe that on the command line you can only pass one at a time, but if you use a config xml you can have as many as you want.

Re: Error - No other information
That "Error" in your screenshot is the preflight status. That is: a check somewhere in the Preflight Profile or Action List(s) you use flagged an error in the PDF. This may be a bit confusing, but this doesn't necessarily mean anything went wrong! It could for example just be that the PDF ...

Re: Select Dieline and Convert to spot
Apparently you can't create a new spot color from within PitStop Server. PitStop Server indeed does not include the colour picker. There is one action ("Remap spot color") that can create a new spot colour without needing the colour picker, but it only works if you're starting from anothe...

Re: Pitstop Library Error Code 3402
That error indicates the report file was not created, which could happen for a number of reasons. Are you creating an annotated report perhaps? If so, it could be that there is something in the file that prevents creating the annotated report - e.g. document permissions or a corrupt input file. It c...

Re: Color Profiles
All I want to do is make sure every file I let through pitstop server, ends up being FOGRA39 color profile, but clients sometimes send files with ISO Coated or Web Coated swop, and so on... That does indeed sound like a normal colour conversion to FOGRA39, as Andrew said. For this you'll need to se...

Re: Color Profiles
If I understand correctly you want the tagging actions. When tagging an object with an ICC profile, PitStop will not change the CMYK values. You can do this in the Inspector with the ICC dropdown, or in an Action List with "Tag object with an ICC profile". As long as you only use the "...
