GriffinAuto 24.03
Hi, I'm planning to upgrade GriffinAuto from 23.11 to 24.03 but I am having trouble to find the complete release notes. What I acctually would like to know is the probability of that my Switch flows will continue to run smooth after the upgrade. Or if I should expect some late night configuration to...

Re: TAC Issues with Black Tones
Given my intention to print this file using an inkjet machine on inexpensive paper, I am encountering significant issues with ink bleed-through. Hi! How do you send the files to the printer, are you using a RIP? What are the color management settings? IMHO it's unusual that the CMYK-values in the P...

Re: Merging Files with common back
Here is a flow that does what you asking for (zip-file in the bottom). The file names of both fronts and backs must start with the same id followed by an underscore . The file name of the back must contain the word back Like this: 0001_ My filename back .pdf 0001_ My first front file.pdf 0001_ My se...

Re: OpenAI
Hi Juraj, how do you input the job to Switch, are you using a Submit point or some kind of text file in a folder?

Re: EMFILE: too many open files ..main.js
Generally, The “Too many open files” error typically occurs when a process reaches the maximum number of open file descriptors allowed by the operating system (It depends upon resources and configuration of the system). In our investigation we noticed that some apps are not closing the tmp files co...

Re: EMFILE: too many open files ..main.js
Hi Magnus, I've had these errors also. These were caused by scripts that created tmp-files that the script did not properly clean up. Rebooting the whole system helped me get Switch running again, but after a while, the errors reappeared. So check you're script(s) for unclosed (tmp) files. Another ...

And for anyone at Enfocus reading this: Could you please add time stamps and mandatory release notes for the different app-versions in the Appstore?

EMFILE: too many open files ..main.js
Hi, after updating a few default apps last week I've had a recurring issue that random flow elements crashes (stops with the red gear-icon) and I get the message below. I have reverted most of the apps to older versions and restarted our server but the problem comes back. WARNING: EMFILE: too many o...

Re: Regular crop marks with offset in Griffin Auto?
I might have a bit of a hack to get crop marks onto a layout (I can't test it on Griffin, but it works In Phoenix and they both have the required options). It basically involves playing around with the bleed and spacing options on the artwork. You need to setup your PDF with the required bleed and ...

Re: Regular crop marks with offset in Griffin Auto?
We don't do any imposing or nesting at the rip since we want to optimize printing hours. Often one guy handles multiple machines. Many of our LFP jobs is automatically imposed through different workflows with Griffin or Automation Engine (often web2print). But for our manual jobs I just built a new ...
