How to notify users that Switch is offline?
I feel like I may have asked this before but how do you guys deal with Switch or a particular Flow being offline or stalled? Ideally i'd like to notify users at the point of inception whether that be a dropped file into a hot folder, or when the user emails. How can I warn or inform that something ...

Adobe CC 2018 (Configurator Update)
Apparently the Configurators are getting an update to be compatible with 2018 today.
Anybody know when that is going to be rolled out?

Web Portal // Log storage location?
As the Administrator, is there a way to delete the Jobs log for a specific User?
I've deleted every log / cookie / database file I can find but the Job Log accessed through the Web Portal remains with its history.
Any ideas how to clear this (from the Switch end, not when logged in as a user)?

Re: Web Portal // Questions
If I drop a single screenshot directly into the Submit Point, then pass it through the Job Dismantler, only one file pops into the final Folder.
Yet the Web Portal shows multiple instances of 'Complete'.
Mayhap this is one for the Enfocus team. I'll report back...

Hmm... The behaviour you reference in the guide isn't indicative of what I'm experiencing.
This : is producing 2x pings in the Web Portal 'Check jobs'

Web Portal // Questions
These are probably really obvious questions but : • Why do some configurators trigger a new line under 'Check Jobs' but others don't? Is there any way to know what will or will not show as a line of info? (The below in this particular workflow shows this line when dismantled, and when moved to an ex...

Re: SFTP broken since Switch 2017?
So as it turns out... (Enfocus investigations conclude) The version of the library used in Switch 2017, update 1 can't communicate with SFTP servers who use DSA based public or private keys in the encryption mechanism. ... and thus a Solution could be any of the below : Instead of running Switch on ...

Re: SFTP broken since Switch 2017?
We have yet to resolve this problem, but have a meeting next week with Enfocus and our IT to see if we can address the issue.
I'll report back any findings.

ETA.
That's a good idea, putting Switch on its own Drive.

Re: How to Test Fixups? (Generic PDF // not app specific)
Yes, that's exactly our reason for wishing to Preflight. To cover off supplied Artwork from sources outside of our control. Ideally, the Fixup would occur autonomously. I'll link the rough list of errors I'm trying to test for. The end game being a Fixup set that can resolve any off these flags. But...

Re: How to Test Fixups? (Generic PDF // not app specific)
That's worked perfectly. Nice one. Thanks 8-) As an Artworker, I'm not even sure I would have clocked those errors in any given .PDF passed across my desk. It shows how easily a poorly formatted file could slip through without a solid Preflight. If I could only work out a way to forge these bad .PDF...
