There is also a pre-configured default Action List for this task.
Search for 'Add a Stroke to the Trim Box for Visualisation v2'
This makes an overprinting stroke in a spot color "Trim Box'. It also puts the stroke on a layer, so it can be easily turned on and off.

Re: Extract Text from PDF for Metadata/Private Data Use
I think we can do this by getting the text you need reported in the XML report so you can access it, and then use it as a variable to rename the file.
Maybe drop me a mail with some examples of what you want to do, and we can experiment.
I seem to remember doing this before with a customer.

Re: masking a page in pitstop
Something you also might want to explore is the splitting a page in half Global Change/Action List. You might have to tweak the Action List a little to give yourself the bleed/overlap you need, but this will work I think. You can also split vertically or horizontally which would be useful. This will...

Re: Pdf Reduce File Size
You can try this. It's something I made for another customer. It replicates the 'Save as Optimized PDF' from Acrobat. There are some things you might want to configure like resolution and compression, and you want want to look at what it removes. It just depends on what you want to use the result for.

Re: Remove object with white background or background with 0% opacity
That's not going to be straightforward. I'll need some more test files to make sure we don't delete other content.
If you have any other sample files, could you email them to me?

Re: Remove object with white background or background with 0% opacity
Ok, so this?
Top what it looks like, bottom wireframe.
I did this manually in PitStop Pro.
Do you need to automate it, if so are the objects in exactly the same positions in each file?

Re: Remove object with white background or background with 0% opacity
Screen Shot 2020-11-12 at 3.40.25 PM.png So I just need to understand what needs removing. You can see the file in Wireframe mode here. You have a circle and a rectangle of 100% CMYK. You have a form (that thing that shows with a X in it) And around the outside of the Media Box you have a path. Whi...

Re: Create Low Res PDF with File Size Validation
I'll try. Firstly understand that this functionality is not in PitStop Server itself, it is in Switch Core which now ships with PitStop Server. We are in a transition to make PitStop Server Switch based, so a lot of new workflow and variable functionality is now available. With the Switch aspect you...

Re: Create Low Res PDF with File Size Validation
I can't think of any way you can do that with those versions of PitStop Server I am afraid. You can do it with PitStop 2020 as that is now Switch based, and you could then route the files after PDF processing based on their file size. That's the only way I can think of doing this as there isn't a sp...

Re: Flattening of pdf content
ahh ok
Is it always the same type of input/output profile?
At the moment you have ISO Coated v2 as the input and output profile in the color management options.
Using a devicelink profile before converting to an image might also be worth a try to see the result.

Re: Dashboard
I'm afraid not, not at the moment at least.
I'll pass this onto the team responsible and see what they say.
What format would you like the data in, csv I presume?
