Re: Switch Auto backup

There is a setting "Save flows automatically" which saves flows before activating them, perhaps that'd be enough for you?

Re: How to correctly check for bleeds?

@bens - it may work sometimes, but definitely not all the time, since in my case (screenshot) the object is visible and needs to stay there, only part of the object is close to the edge, but it's covered by another white object. In theory PitStop is right, object is close to the edge, but in reality...

How to correctly check for bleeds?

Hi, I'm having problem with "Check if object is close to the page edge" action, what happens is if there's object beneath white background or invisible object, it will show up saying the object is close to the edge, example: http://prntscr.com/qr6u2x - when in reality, there's a white obje...

PitStop Annotations to PDF Comments

Hi. When I asked someone some time ago about PitStop's annotations (errors/fixes/warnings) in PDF Review module, they said it's not supported yet, but I got the answer that in theory it's possible to take comments from PitStop's PDF and add as metadata to show in PDF Review module. Has anyone done t...

Re: Submit point metadata, field list value

freddyp wrote: Thu Jan 09, 2020 11:07 am One possible approach is to use this XPath:

Code: Select all

//field[@Id='spMF__2_693']/value
for the first metadata and the other Id number for the second.

Copy and paste this into the edit field underneath "XML location path".
Thank you, it worked :)

Re: Resend job after 24 hours IF job still exists

@op I suppose you could use "Fail jobs after timeout", set it to 1 day, have "Fail Connection" folder set to your own instead of "Problem jobs" and just re-route the file back to PDF Review module. http://prntscr.com/ql7m2h - Haven't tried this myself, but in theory, I ...

Re: Resend job after 24 hours IF job still exists

Just interested to ask a small question related to this flow. When the email is sent off to get approval, I guess that there is no attachment file, just say approved and go ahead to print. If there is no attachment file, can I still use "Mail Receive" , then "Inject Job" (search...

Submit point metadata, field list value

Hi. Having a bit of a problem. I have submit point in switch, that has metadata field with "Dropdown List" and there are two more metadata fields that depends on answer to the first one. Basically, here's a rough example: http://prntscr.com/ql788m and http://prntscr.com/ql780u Now, all is ...

It's not really a photo editing tool, best you could do is probably play with contrast.

Re: Preflight Report "Removed object"

Well, you can try looking at the preflight itself to figure out what it's set to remove. Or, you can set the preflight report to annotated and see if it highlights the spots on PDF where those objects have been (altought it might not, since those objects are not there anymore and there's nothing to ...

Thank you, thought "Inject Job" worked in a different way.

Works great, thanks again.

Make flow itself take same file everytime on it's own?

Hi. I have this idea, for which I would use metadata supplied from my website (no file attached, only metadata) and for that, I'd need for empty PDF to go with that metadata so pitstop server has something to work on in switch flow. So basically, is it possible to make it so every time an xml file p...

Okay, if anyone could find a couples of minutes to check this out, I'd be thankfull since I'm starting to pull my hair out here. Basically, here's the context, I have this flow (attached file) which works for me in pitstop, but doesn't in switch/pitstop server. It just check if trim box size = bleed...
