Re: Lost the shortcut to my Custom Tool set.

I've just tried it and I was able to drag and drop tools from toolsets to the top toolbar with the default Acrobat tools. They stay there after switching documents and after restarting Acrobat.

Re: email notification flow

If you want to get the files inside a jobfolder in Switch via variables, then you can use the Job.NestedName variable. So using this variable in your mail should fix your issue.

Re: Combining text files with Execute command

Are there errors logged by the command when you execute it in Switch? You can see regular output (stdout), error output (stderr), exit codes and the actual command being executed in the Switch messages when debug logging is enabled. In my experience this helps a lot when trying to find out why Execu...

Re: HTTP Request and Google API

I've experimented with 3 legged OAuth before, but I'm far from an expert in it. Technically, the App had to open a webpage for the user where he could allow the App to access the information of his account, then the API redirected to an URL of the app creator choice with parameters which had to be u...

Re: Adjust the sticky note in the annotated report.

I don't think that's possible. Out of curiosity, what do you want to add? Some "Preflighted By" company info?

Re: overprint

I'm not sure what you mean, but it looks like you have overprint issues while using "Place PDF"? I did a quick test the overprint of the objects in the placed PDF is the same in the PDF where the objects are placed in. I'm using PitStop Pro 2017. If you see something else, then maybe it is...

Re: How to Test Fixups? (Generic PDF // not app specific)

You're welcome. As to creating those files yourself, I doubt it is technically possible to create them using Illustrator/PhotoShop/InDesign. In my opinion the preflight checks (mostly the page box one, in lesser extent the alternate image one) are more intended to catch PDF's which are produced by b...

This is a file created in PitStop which I think should trigger your errors:

Re: How to Test Fixups? (Generic PDF // not app specific)

If you have PitStop Pro, then I think you should be able to create such "bad" files: • 'Remove Alternate Images' You can create a PDF with Alternate Images by building an action list with the "Add alternate Images" action. • 'Correct nesting of page Geometry Boxes' I think you ca...

Re: web hooks? MS Teams

Afaik Enfocus assumed that the json would always be created using a script when they created HTTP Request, that's why you can't do it directly in HTTP Request. Maybe you can convince the author of the next App to make a "Make-Json" App, that would allow it to be used in combination with HT...

Re: Convert to CMYK

I believe this has to do with the color management settings when converting from the Gray Color space to the CMYK color space. But there is a trick for it: - Open the "Convert to Color Space" Global Change in PitStop Pro - Set it up to convert to Device CMYK - Enable the "Force gray t...

Re: InDesign to PDF Config = Useless Error Messages

The InDesign configurator allows you to add an outgoing log connection of type log, have you tried to enable it already?

At the moment I only have an InDesign package with missing Images handy, but if I process it, then the XML log outputted on the log connection lists all missing Images.

Re: Checkpoint via mail // Finished receiving message REPEATS OVER AND OVER

The logs talk about a "message" instead of a "job", so I think they are related to "mail messages" on the email address monitored by Checkpoint via mail instead of Switch jobs.

Are there mails in that mailbox which have nothing to do with Checkpoint via mail?
