Re: latest Acrobat update

Hi

Several users reported it and we are looking at it.

If possible, I invite you to restore a previous version of Acrobat. If not, you may want to contact Adobe Care to get instructions for downgrading Acrobat.

Thanks for your patience and understanding.

Re: Why does the Page Color Type Report report RGB as black and white?

Hi, The logic behind reporting Page Color Type is that type is determined by rendering the page to CMYK, with colour management and anti-aliasing disabled. Therefore, PitStop emulates a DFE behaviour using PostScript conversion formulas with colour management off. Neutral RGB should then be converte...

Re: cliping mask

Hi,

You can try this but would you mind explaining why do you need those steps? Especially the clipping part? Is it because you get Varnish out of the trim that you want to "remove"?

Let me know,

Re: Action encryption and unencrypted operational efficiency

Hi,

There is no obvious reasons why it should take longer, nor a by design result obviously. I would suggest that you report your findings to our support so it can be further analyzed.

It's never too late and I can only encourage anyone having issues with Form XObjects to keep on reporting them here.

And as far as you are concerned, I kindly invite you to keep an eye on our upcoming PitStop update 1 Release as it will solve this issue ;)

Re: Mirror bleed issue

Hi, I see what you are trying to achieve. This result can be obtained by using "add bleed around contour" and using trim as the "contour". In this case, we consider existing content in the bleed and we can extend pixels from the last position of content in the bleed. https://i.ib...

Official representatives monitor this foum though surely? Forum is not an "official" point of contact so while many of us in the company regularly monitor the forum and try to assist, you shouldn't take for granted that you will get support from us though the forum. For critical matters, ...

Re: Using Submit Metadata in Pitstop Varibale Set

Hi

You need to set the variable type as "length". Number as you set is needed for abstract numbers like a number of pages, or separations.

When you come to check dimensions, you need length which introduces unit (mm, in…)

Hope that helps,

Re: Delay Indesign Saving a Document

For what it's worth, using $.sleep() in InDesign Scripts is quite useless as it freezes script execution (and by extension any InDesign operations).

Re: AcrobatVersion 2023.006.20320 causing editing issues

Hi The one thing that isn't fixed with the new Pitstop v23.0.1.0, is the "always on" ability to see the document size in the lower left hand corner. You can still hover the cursor over it to see the media size as before but must disable the Page Display > "Always show document page si...
