Action to detect and select a specified area of a black-only object.
I'm trying to figure out an action to detect and select a specified area (greater than a certain width and height) of a black-only object and apply a rich black to it automatically. Is there such a thing?

Re: Converting all colors to process while preserving certain spot colors.
Hello. Okay not totally perfect but close! I introduced a grayscale image (black channel only) into the mix but the action converts it to cmyk. Can there be something in this action to ignore grayscale images?

Re: Disappearing CMYK Profiles
It is very strange. My Acrobat and Pitstop are the latest versions, as well as my OSX. I thought updating everything would fix the issue but it didn't, unfortunately.

Re: Converting all colors to process while preserving certain spot colors.
Thank you for your reply. Yes, we do have certain spot color names we as our clients to use in their files. These names include "Dieline", "Perf", and "Score".

Converting all colors to process while preserving certain spot colors.
We do a lot of packaging jobs that contain dielines, perfs, and score lines. Our customers provide pdfs that contain these overprinting spot color elements for reference. Is there an action that can convert all colors to process but bypass or preserve these certain spots colors?
