Re: Records limit with VDP flows?
Thanks for the information Freddy. Yes, I am using the SmartStream Designer VDP Configurator for the flow. The time out was set to 20 minutes, so I just increased it to 120 minutes and we'll see what happens. I did trim the csv down to 1500 records and still it failed, so I trimmed it to 1000 record...

Records limit with VDP flows?
Is there a limit regarding how many records you can have in a database when creating a VDP flow? I have a database with 3100 records that keep failing with the error "Communication was aborted: ScriptExecutor termination was requested" and then "Configurator job was aborted because th...

Don't ask me why Switch Client 12 has been working flawlessly until the PC crashed two weeks ago... *sigh*

Switch Client
Not sure if this is the correct forum, but here we go... We had a PC setup with Switch Clint 12 where the people in our large format department could go to find the jobs they needed to print and then send them to their machines, however, the power supply on that PC shorted out and since it's a custo...

Re: Strange workflow behaviour
The XML-file is just a simple text file that I edit with TextEdit on the Mac and since the problem goes away if I edit the value back I fail to see how using TextEdit to edit the file would cause the problem. Once the file is passed on from Sort to PitStop Server the only metadata used in PitStop Se...

Strange workflow behaviour
I have created a flow for one of our customers and I've ran into a very strange problem. The flow downloads pdf-files and xml-files from our ftp and then impose the pdf for our Indigo machines. As the customer has both saddle stitched and perfect bound products I have to handle the files differently...

Re: Compability with Acrobat on a Mac
Sorry, I must have misinterpreted your question. I thought you asked about PitStop 13, but It seems like it's Adobe Acrobat you're asking about. Acrobat DC Help / System Requirements for Adobe Acrobat Pro DC, Acrobat Standard DC Mac OS Intel processor Mac OS X v10.9, 10.10 or 10.11* Safari 7 or 8 (b...

Re: Compability with Acrobat on a Mac
If you have PitStop 13 without any update it will not run on your system, but if you download PitStop 13 Update 1 and install it it will run on your system.

Re: Reorder pages in a pdf
The original file name is 697_Vit_A4L, this file I split in to two page files and the segments are given the _01, _03, _05 and so on suffix (most likely because each file contains two pages). The _01 file contains page 1 and 2, the _03 file contains page 3 and 4 and so on. I then calculate which fil...

Re: Reorder pages in a pdf
If I put a hold in front of the Assemble job and click Assemble job and look at the properties for Scheme - Job Identifier the Sample value it is correct, 697_Vit_A4L in this case, which is what's bugging me to insanity...

Re: Reorder pages in a pdf
Sorry for the sloppy description in the last paragraph. I wrote "the properties for Assemble Job - Job Identifier the Sample value shows the correct value", but the correct phrasing should be "the properties for "Job Identifier" under "Scheme" in Assemble Job the S...

Re: Reorder pages in a pdf
OK, I have now got the flow working the way I want, but I get an error when the flow completes. The flow looks like this: http://i67.tinypic.com/30c3xpx.png If I drop a 36 page pdf-file and an xml-file into the In folder I will see the resulting file briefly in the Out folder before it's moved to th...
