Re: Swap out PDF

You can use Inject lite, a free app.
The low res file is the trigger and Inject looks at a folder for a file of the same name and
injects it.

Re: Custom metadata options

Hi
One way
If you use the Client Web Interface then you can set the data to be entered in the Submit Point.
If needed this can be pre set and a job down list.
This can be extended out with the Submit points URLs.
That data is then xml associated with the job to use as a Var elsewhere.

Re: Selecting pages that are not equal to...

If I understand the issue correctly you may need to use Switch as you can check H and S as separate conditions and use And/Or this is in a connection to route a file if it Passes/Fails. Also you need to allow for the W and H between ie, >295 <298 to allow for a bit of imprecision. Roughly Fail if W ...

Re: XML string to PDF File

Hi Matt Interesting, seems like you can do it with execute command. Haven't done it here though. https://www.igorkromin.net/index.php/2017/04/26/base64-encode-or-decode-on-the-command-line-without-installing-extra-tools-on-linux-windows-or-macos/ or https://www.proxoft.com/base64.aspx Test the file ...

Re: Switch Messages - 'do not show'

I think at the moment you only have the option to show/hide the element column.
Best to put a feature request in if you want it.

Re: Preflight report, error + fix

I think Switch is the best place to route the files according to your needs as PitStop as you've seen won't do it.
Do you have the Switch client.
Makes the data exchange easier.

Re: Preflight report, error + fix

Yep, dumb of me there!

As you're doing the RGB to CMYK do you need the Error to advice someone?
This is where Switch kicks.

Re: How to check if file needs bleeds?

Then I think you need to look at the operator function and to create 2 conditions that the object needs to satisfy.
Select objects inside 3 mm of trim
and
Select objects that don't extend 3 mm outside of trim.

Yes.
Make a new action.
Under color add Check Output Intent with your reference.

Re: How to check if file needs bleeds?

Hi
Your selection in the action will pick up anything that is up to 3mm inside the trim box and 3mm outside of it.
Try adjusting the first numbers to 0.5 mm

Also Switch doesn't likes multiple versions of any CS app either.
Has to be one only.
