I would like to know whether it is possible to put Pitstop Server and Switch on different servers. Is there a way to let the configurator talk to Pitstop Server that is not on the same machine.
The reason behind it - as you can imagine - is that I expect heavy load
Thanks
Ariel

Impostrip Configurator
Hi,
I have set up a demo ground for Switch and some third-party vendors at AWS. Unfortunately does Ultimates license system not allow cloud installations.
My question:
How does the configurator talks to the Impostrip installation - can they be at different urls?
Thank you,
Ariel

Re: send mail template
Hi guys, I have not tried it yet but here is the idea: In order to avoid the messy messages we could put Switch variables - let's say cssReplace1, cssReplace2, ... - instead of the real css statements. We could then initialize them with the real statement "cssReplace1 = "[class=wrapper]&qu...

leading and trailing spaces: trim
Hi,
I somehow forgot how to trim a string.
str.trim() does not work.
Thank you in advanced,
Ariel

Hi, I have just downloaded a html template from a campaign site (they should know how to make it super compatible to all the devices and OSs). Unfortunately, when using it as a fixed file template it complains (warning in the message log) about unknown variables: @media only screen and (max-width: 6...

Re: Submission point with no files to provide
If you want to do something really ugly you can use a Checkpoint instead of Submit point and define a loop where files (dummy ones) are entering the Checkpoint depending on how many people should use the flow. It will look like slots waiting to be used.

Performance issues
Hi, I have some concerns regarding the performance behavior or the concurrency settings of my installation. Today every file according to user input is either converted to CMYK or to Grayscale before sending to the DFE. This process is performed by Pitstop Server. Unfortunately, when sending large f...

For Indigos the DFE Configurator still misses some of the feature that are supported by the DFE tickets.
A new version (like always) should add those missing features:)

Pitstop Server Configurator - Concurrency
Hi,
I have several flows that have several Pitstop interventions.
I noticed that jobs are waiting for the first to finish before progressing. I entered the Pitstop server console and got confirmed that indeed it is processing one at a time.
Please advice,
Ariel
