Are the icons of these files changeable : /Users/MYNAME/Library/Application Support/Enfocus/SwitchClient/DummyFile.jpg
Perhaps adding in a unique file of the type you are after, and adding a custom icon would work?

Re: Exclude subdirectories from FTP pickup
In theory the method mentioned above should be adequate.
Have you tried Adjusting by rule : Including folders named
Whereby you include or exclude specific folders that you are after?
(Maybe drop a screengrab)

This isn't helpful, but we have the same issue now as well. With Acrobat.

Re: How to use Execute Command?
Thanks for that link. Not entirely sure whether I've done exactly what your guide stated but here's how I found a ' solution '. This is FAR from elegant, and I'm hoping somebody picks it apart and explains why I've had to run one script, to then run another! However, it does mean that I can use Swit...

Re: Using variables in filepath
I'm wondering if he means rather than creating Folders, instead he's looking to direct traffic to specific folders that already exist but are nested within a consistent Folder Structure. So whether the top level folder is called; Nike / Adidas / Puma, the lower levels are always named the same i.e P...

Sometimes Switch throws up this error :

I've had the below in the 'Command or path' section :
In the layout as here :
But it doesn't trigger anything to run.
Code: Select all
/Users/Studio/Documents/Storage/050-HDD Add-on/Switch-SCRIPT/Notify

How to use Execute Command?
Another day, another part of Switch I know nothing about! I have a Script saved down appropriately with the following : #!/bin/bash growlnotify -H 192.168.XXX.XX -t "Notice" -m "COMPLETE" -P password Which runs perfectly if called in Terminal. But how do I get the Switch ' ...

Re: keeping file owner
Only problem with Switch Client is the cost for the user Licenses. You could try using the MetaData to allocate a users Mac ID etc. This would be okay to run through a flow with. A work around is to ' Attach email addresses ' at the start of the Flow, but utilise the Variables instead of the address...

You could also go to /Library /Application Support/ Enfocus /Switch Server /backing /NameOfScript and delete the files from there.

Re: Blocking the Flow (or, how to stop things popping out the other end!)
Okay, I've figured out what the hell I was on about  Apologies for dropping this thread into the mix and then abandoning! In essence, I have always duplicated the Recycle Bin from other Flows and until now, never really thought about it. HOWEVER, what I realise I have done is assign the Recycl...

Blocking the Flow (or, how to stop things popping out the other end!)
Say a .PDF is input at one end of a Flow. Is there a way for it to disolve away, and not make it out the other end? Specifically, rather than moving the file to a Bin of some sort, or emailing it on etc. Are we able to have Switch just forget about its Temporary Flow .PDF component and not take it a...
