Re: Select objects with same fill value

Sorry, but I'm still not really sure what you are trying to achieve. But anyway. The problem is you are trying to select some objects, but you don't know what color they will be. I assume this needs to be automated. So what you need is a way to select objects that you can trust. Perhaps what you cou...

The add Bleed on works on rectagular shapes at the moment. It won't add bleed to a cut contour

The add bleed is in PitStop Server.
Drop me a mail off-forum and I can try and help.

Re: Over Lay Knife line on Artwork

So you have two PDF files?
Open both. Using PitStop select the knife line, copy or cut.
Go to other file, paste
Assuming the knife line is still selected.
Right Mouse Click, Assign to layer. Either to an existing one, or create a new one.

That should do it!

Re: Trim marks outside of bleed box?

Standard Action List
Add Crop Marks - variable offset from Trim Box

You'll have to play with the numbers to get the result you want.

You probably used a different Action List before. There are several.

Re: Action list, Generating QR-code with value of the file name

Not possible yet. But in fact I spoke to someone at EFI Connect in Las Vegas about this very thing.
So it won't be that far away.

Re: Color Profiles

but clients sometimes send files with ISO Coated or Web Coated swop, and so on... so, I don't suppose DeviceLink will work if I'll have a different color space every time? Ok so let's examine this in more detail. Imagine a customer sends in a PDF that has a Output Intent or an image that is tagged ...

Re: Remove Transparency from Selection Action?

What you are trying to do is a bit dangerous, but I understand why you want to do it. This is a basic Action List that gives you some idea. It's based on color and finding the 'multiply' blend mode. If you want to send some test files over, I'm happy to take a look. Bear in mind there are 4 ways to ...

Re: Color Profiles

If I understand your question correctly. You want to convert the file to CMYK using a Fogra 39 profile, but not touch an EXISTING CMYK? If that's correct then a conventional ICC color conversion will do that. It will convert everything else (or whatever colorspaces you define) to CMYK, but not touch...

Flatten annotations might also be useful if you want to keep them.

Either way you can detect they are there using preflight.

Re: Conditional Actions based on variables

You could do it in Switch, but it's also possible in PitStop Server using a rule variable with a boolean. You'll need to add the Action to add a blank page into the Preflight Profile, and then use the booelan to turn it on or off. So basically the XMl value is retrieved, the rule checks if the value...

Re: Changing Overprint Modes from OPM0 to OPM1

It's not an existing Action List.
That's the name of the Action!
You'll need to make the Action List yourself. It's pretty straightforward.

Select all (or whatever you want to change)
Change Overprint Mode (configured to the OPM you want)
