I use filters mostly to see what went wrong with a specific job. Sometimes I filter on a specific flow to see what is going on in that flow. In the "Rename Job" element you have the option "Reduce character set" in it you can set the "Allowed character set" to "Portable ASCII" and that will give what you want. It will replace å, ä and ö with Underscore, Space or remove the not allowed characters. ...

Is it possible to limit the allowed characters in a filename to just a-z, 0-9 and _ ?

Why do it the easy way, when you can do it the hard way...

I will submit files to the flow throughout the day, but I don't want the files to be sent to the imposition software until 8.00 pm. That way I can make a ganging imposition for all jobs to be printed on the same substrate the next day. For instance I can submit a job to be printed on Reboard White C...

Dunno if this is what you're after, but I have an action list that will increase the media box 10 mm on all sides and add printer marks according to the trim box. I.e. if you have a page with the media box 210 x 297 mm it will change the media box to 230 x 317 mm and add printer marks for 210 x297 mm.

I don't know if you can do it with an action list, but a preflight profile can do it for sure. The attached preflight profile will list the resolution of any image with a resolution below 1500 dpi. Worst case just create a new Preflight profile, go to Images and select Resolution of. Set image type ...

Hi Terkelsen. Could this work? In the set Set hieararchy path you set the number of subfolders you need, the first one based on the Customer name and then in the Archive hierarchy you set the path to the folder before your customer folder. Does anyone know why Merge PDF adds a suffix to the file name and how to stop it from adding the suffix?

As you can see from this screenshot Merge PDF adds the number 291 at the end of the file name and this number increases for every job passing thru the flow.
