Every time I reboot our Switch production server I get these messages in the log file. I have tried starting the flows that we normally use on the server one after the other, but none of them generates any errors (other than when the server drops a mounted volume). 1/11/2017 08:29:16 Error Control E...

Move files between different flows?
I have a couple of flows that have been expanded several times and now they start to get out of control... I'm thinking about splitting the flows up in smaller parts where at the end of one flow I put the file in a folder which also is the input folder for a different flow. In this flow for in...

Thanks Gabriel.
That's most likely the problem as I upgraded to Switch 13 upgrade 1 last week.

Switch 13 u1, Client authentication error. Incorrect password.
The messages log is full of this error from the module Control.
Does anyone have any ideas as to what might cause this problem?
Thanks
Lasse

Re: Switch 13u1 mail settings in Preferences
Ahhhhhhh.... You have just to love computer logic..... :o For two days I've been scratching my head trying to figure out why on earth the developer server is sending mails while the production server wont send mail with the same settings. Just out of the blue a thought popped up in my head, what if ...

Re: Phoenix Imposition Software
Hi NEOSA.
We have just installed Phoenix and are in the process of setting everything up. Once we get all of the stocks and presses entered into the system I'm supposed to start looking at building some flows where Switch will drive Phoenix, but that is still a couple of weeks away.
Regards
Lasse

Re: Switch 13u1 mail settings in Preferences
Yes, it's the same computer. Friday morning I upgraded Switch 13u1 to Switch 17, but on monday we found out we didn't get any bleed on jobs imposed via SmartStream anymore, so I reverted to the Time Machine backup from friday morning (before I upgraded). I have since then had a conversation with San...

Switch 13u1 mail settings in Preferences
I'm having a crapload of problems since reverting to Switch 13 update 1. Currently my biggest problem is that Switch refuse to send mails no matter what settings I use in the preferences. Does anyone have any ideas what the heck might be wrong? We have a Microsoft Exchange server and I've tried the ...

Re: HP SmartStream Designer Imposition (version 120)
Well, with the designer you can atleast set a bleed value in order to get the bleed correct.
How have you managed to solve this with Switch?

HP SmartStream Designer Imposition (version 120)
I just upgraded our Switch server to Switch 17 and now I was informed that the flows that use the HP SmartStream Designer Imposition don't have any bleed? When I check the configurator I can only choose between Cropping to Trim Box and Media Box. Cropping to Media Box means the pages are shifted upw...

Re: Enfocus PDF Review, Multiple files
I just realized it's the PitStop Server configurator in the flow that doesn't like me sending a folder to it... We have an action list cropping the pdf files to the trim box size before sending the files to the PDF Reviewer. Any way of having PitStop Server accepting a folder? I made...

Re: Enfocus PDF Review, Multiple files
I added a branch where I check if [Job.IsFolder] and then I added an Assemble job, but I have to specify how many files I need to assemble. Is there a way to count the number of files in the folder or do I have to add a variable in the Submit Point and specify how many files I need to send in order ...
