Separated colors into composite PDF

Post by Jakub Smetka »

Hello,

we have some problems with our customer, he sends us the PDF's with separated colors (1st page - cyan, 2nd page - magenta...).

Is it possible to merge this 4 sites in one "composite" PDF using Enfocus Pitstop?

Does exist any action for it?

Sorry for my English.

Thanks a lot and have a nice day.

I have asked for this feature for a looooong time :-) It is not there yet, but rumors has it, that it will come in a future version. Don't tell anybody, but pdfTooBox has this very nice "overlay-feature"

Hi Terkelsen,

thank you for your response, I'll try the pdftoolbox. Hopefully this feature will be implemented in next/future version :-)

Have a nice day!

Hi Jakub,

I'm not sure if it will be helpful for you but is one trick to do it.
Using ImageMagick with the command

Code: Select all

-combine
but only for raster images.
First you need to save file to TIFF format.
On the web you can find some examples.

Best,
Aleksander

We have found a solution, Acrobat Distiller + Seps2Comp (it's an old unsupported plugin but it works), thank you for your advices :-)
