Running Switch on a virtual server

I'm running into issues when running Switch 11 Update 3, on a virtual (VMWare) server that's running Windows 2008 Server R2 x64. I have about 20 flows activated at the same time, and most of the flows have at least one, maybe two, "Hold job" objects in them. While runing, the Switch service/ScriptExecutor uses almost 100% of the CPU of my server. If I remove the "Hold job" objects, Switch uses much less CPU. I really need the Hold job's though, so removing them from my flows really isn't an option. When I run the same flows on my laptop, running Windows 7, very litte CPU is used, even with the Hold job's. Therefore, I believe the issue has to do with running Switch in a VM environment.

Has anyone else run into this? Please let me know if you have any suggestions.

Thanks.
