Portals give warnings

Post by PdFUser5000 » Fri Aug 14, 2020 7:49 am

Everytime something moves through portals, console logs the following warnings. The amount of files moved does not affect the amount of warnings.
Is this something i should be worried about? The portals work as intented. Or should i consider using an alternative app for this?
Portals scope is Program.

I would recommend you to try Switch2Switch (https://www.enfocus.com/en/appstore/pro ... tch2switch), which uses the remote processing feature introduced in Switch 2019. It is much faster and in my experience also more reliable than Portals. Despite its name you can also use it to transfer jobs within one Switch installation between flows or even inside one flow. When using it within a single Switch (i.e. URL is http://localhost:port), the app doesn't use http so it's very fast, too.

The warning message were internal logs that we did not intend to show in production.

As said by patej, the new Switch2Switch or flowLink are better in everyway, (faster, and more stable).
