Quark Xpress to PostScript flow

Post by Murdock »

Hi,

I'm fairly new to FullSwitch.

I downloaded the "Quark to PostScript" flow from this website.

I always get the same error in FullSwitch when trying this flow: "Open script returned the error: QuarkXPress got an error: Can’t make some data into the expected type."

The only thing I modified from the original flow is selecting a ps driver.

I even try saving as EPS but I end up with the same error message.

I'm using Quark 8.12 and Mac OS X 10.6.4.

Any idea of what I'm doing wrong.

Thanks in advance!

The only way I have ever had reliable output from Quark was to use Axaio MadeToPrint Auto XT.
I'm just a dude. Anything I say has nothing to do with any other person or company.

Quark Xpress to PostScript flow

I've loaded this flow too. I'm wondering what to use for a postscript driver or PPD. I did a little research on printing from Quark 8 to a postscript file with Snow Leopard and it sounds like the Adobe PDF postscript driver is no longer useable in Snow Leopard. I've tried the generic ones and they don't allow for custom page sizes. Has anyone written a script that will allow Quark to export a postscript for PDF? That would make things considerably simpler.
