Remove specific metadata in PSD

Post by leondona »

Hi There,

i am a newbe here, but i have been using Switch for more than ten years.

I have a question. I have a bulk of PSD files who contain a load of unwanted metadata. This metadata seems to be inherited from Adam.

How can i erase this specific metadata bit from the PSD? I can't seem to fix this with XMP inject.

....
<adam:metadata rdf:parseType="Resource">
<adam:pagecount>112</adam:pagecount>
<adam:creator rdf:parseType="Resource">
<adam:platform>Windows</adam:platform>
<adam:version>5.5</adam:version>
</adam:creator>
<adam:page1 rdf:parseType="Resource">
<adam:preview>ffd8ffe000104a46494600010201004800480000ffed002c50686f746f73686f7020332e30003842494d03ed00000000001000480000000100010048000000010001ffee001341646f6265006480000000010500020020ffdb0084000a07070707070a07070a0e0909090e110c0b0b0c1114101010101014110f11
...
...

Any help would be appreciated!

Kind regards,

You can use a Command Line tool called EXIF tool and run it in Execute Command.
