Make flow itself take same file everytime on it's own?

Post by RytisT »

Hi. I have this idea, for which I would use metadata supplied from my website (no file attached, only metadata) and for that, I'd need for empty PDF to go with that metadata so pitstop server has something to work on in switch flow.

So basically, is it possible to make it so every time an xml file passes certain point in flow, an empty pdf file is taken with it every time from certain folder?

I would start by using the XML Pickup to set the XML as metadata in SWITCH for the file.
Then use the Inject Job to get the pdf into the flow. The pdf will then have the XML as metadata.

Thank you, thought "Inject Job" worked in a different way.

Works great, thanks again.

It is always a good idea to check to option for a connection. Because sometimes the options you want is on the connection and not the configurator.
