Select all text in a document and change its color

Post by matteospagno »

Hello to everyone.
The company where I work have just bought Pitstop to automate preflight and made some corrections before printing. I am noob with pitstop, I only know a little of it but have an issue: can I create a pitstop action that select only the text in a pdf document and change its color to 0,0,0,100 CYMK if the starting color is 0,0,0 RGB?

Yes, you can and it's really easy. Make an action like this:

Select all
Select text segments
Remap color

In the Remap color options click Add and remap RGB 0,0,0 to CMYK 0,0,0,100. You might even want to remap from a color range like RGB values between 0 and 5.

Thanks Terkelsen for the answer, I tried to do the action like you told me but it doesn't seem to make the change I need. I try to do it again and re-check the various settings.
