How to quit an application (e.g. InDesign/Photoshop) after using in a flow

Hello everyone,
is there the possibility to quit an Adobe application after a job has been completed?
Examples are: a flow in which a PDF is created from InDesign or another flow in which an action is executed with Photoshop.
In both cases, the programs remain open after the job is completed. Is it possible to exit the programs automatically? Is this only possible via a script (we do not have the scripting module).
