Gatefold-Crop panels

Post by nrosario » Sat May 04, 2019 3:27 am

I'm using with PitstopPro 2019 & Acrobat DC for Mac. I need to crop a gatefold cover in 3 different panels. In Acrobat I can select the area & use the crop tool repeating the same action 3 times for each panel but the ES system I'm using is not honoring these changes. I would like to know if I can do this in Pitstop.

Interesting one.
I guess you have a front and a back.
What are the three page measurements, I guess it's something like 210mm, 210mm, 209mm?

BTW, it's definitely doable in PitStop 2019.
The new Split Action List really helps.
If you give me the page dimensions I can have a play.
Do you need Bleed on the split pages?

The bleed needs to be cropped too. Page measurements are: left panel 7.25" (184.15mm), center 7.375" (187.325mm) & right panel 7.625" (193.675mm) (right panel folds in).

Ok thank you. I've made up a dummy file and I'm going to try and split it in the PitStop workshop on Wednesday.

It should be posted this week on the Elearning platform. Apologies for the delay.
I resolved all the issues btw. Works well.

I was never able to watch this. Can you send me the link? In the eLearning, I'm still getting the message This recording cannot be played or downloaded because it was disabled by the host.

I just logged in to my Enfocus account, clicked Learn, checked Pitstop and English, then searched for May 2019 and clicked the Start leraning button.
Video worked without any problems.
