Hi,
I've been using PitStop Pro for a while now and built up a nice set of Locally saved profiles, action lists, design layouts, etc. I recently switched to Acrobat 2017. I believe all my old profiles were lost, which I've become more or less reconciled to (unless there's some local directory where they're hiding out).
But now I can't even save custom action lists, design layouts, or the like to the Local database. They just aren't saved. See attached screenshots--there's a red X on the folder icons for everything except the Standard folders.
Note that though Acrobat 2017 was installed and all other versions of Acrobat supposedly uninstalled on my machine, and although PitStop seems to work normally in most ways, the Enfocus folder for PitStop still seems to be in the plug-ins folder associated with Acrobat DC (see attached screenshot). But I have the enterprise, non-cloud version Adobe Acrobat Pro 2017 (2017 Release (Classic) version 2017.011.30070). It looks just like Acrobat DC, the Creative Cloud version, but I guess there's no cloud functionality.
Any idea what might be going on? I know it's a complicated stew...

Your local stuff is stored in this folder:
C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Enfocus Prefs Folder
There are subfolders there for the Action Lists and Preflight profiles.
As for the issue itself, I've seen the following instructions work in more cases then just Acrobat crashing. They might also be worth a try:

Fixing the folder permissions worked! Thanks, Padawan.
Cause 1: Insufficient permissions
Please make sure that the user as which you run Acrobat has full read and write permissions on the following folders:
Win
C:/ProgramData/Enfocus Prefs Folder
C:/Program Files (x86)/Adobe
C:/Program Files (x86)/Adobe/Acrobat X
C:/Program Files (x86)/Adobe/Acrobat/Acrobat/Plug -ins
Mac:
/Applications/Adobe Acrobat X Pro/
