License before Downgrade

Post by Guy Heirich »

Hello,

Sorry for my bad english. I try in english and french.

I have a problem.
I have a computer on Mac OS 10.13 with a license Pitstop Pro.
I have a software who can't run on 10.13, I have to downgrade 10.13 to 10.12.
This is a computer from a friend who leave this office.

I don't know, I don't understund, I do not found what I have to do before.
Desactive Pitstop Pro?
Where is my license file?
What I have to do whit License Manager?
What I have to do??? please…

I have pitstop pro on acrobat dc and it's very difficult to work with.
Me (end the personne who work on this computer) don't like.

So, what I try to do:
1 desinstall/desactive the license pitstop pro from this computer
2 install Mac OS 10.12
3 install pitstop pro on an other release of Acrobat before DC.

Somebody can tell me step by step please?

Thanks!!!!!

If I am understanding correctly, due to some other software that does not work on MacOSX 10.13 you have to downgrade to 10.12??

If so, you can just downgrade system and hope everything else works fine.

In case you want to also downgrade to older version of Acrobat, than you have to first reinstall system, second install older version of Acrobat and possibly reinstall Pitstop.
As long as you are on the same workstation, you should not need to deactivate Pitstop.

In case you have to deactivate Pitstop, you can do it from Local License Manager which is located in your Applications/Enfocus folder.

I hope I am understanding you correctly and that this helps.

Hello

Yes

I can install 10.12 and use Assistant migration.app, but I can't install PitstopPro because I can't do install on other acrobat if Pitstop are installed.
There's a warning window who said then I can't Install because a newer version are installed.
If I have ton install Pitstop on an other version of Acrobat, I have to desactive/desinstall Pitstop before.

So I waiting to do Downgrad, Pitstop are necessary for the production.
I don't want to downgrade, install my software who need 10.12 and if I don't have Pitstop Pro… :(

I hope then you understand my english.

1. Use the License Manager to deactivate the Pitstop Pro license. If you do so you get an option to save the license file.

2. Uninstall Acrobat DC.

3. Install the older version of Acrobat that you want.

4. Install Pitstop Pro (make sure it's a version compatible with the version of Acrobat that you just installed) https://www.enfocus.com/en/support/syst ... quirements

5. Activate Pitstop Pro using the license file that you saved when deactivating.

Hello,

So…

In Licence Manager I do save the lisence file .html.
I install OS 10.12
I install CC and Acrobat XI
I install PitstopPro.

All is ok, all run good.

But if I go on Lisence Manager and clic to add the .html file, this dosen't work, nothing appear in Lisence Manager.
BUT… if I complet the user ID in this software, I haven't alert message.

I don't know if all it's ok or if I go to a problem soon…

So, all works on this computer now, thanks.

Sorry for my bad english
