Incorrectly-Sized CAD Drawings
Incorrectly-Sized CAD Drawings
We print a fair amount of engineering-sized drawings. Often, the PDFs that are provided to us are not the correct scaling. This is before we print them. Most are 1 or 2% smaller than they should be. It’s a problem that is created when the customer exports/saves the CAD drawing to a PDF. To fix this, we open the drawing in Acrobat, find a measurement we can verify, identify the scale it should be, and then re-scale it so when it prints, it will be to scale. It’s a pain. Is there a way for Acrobat or Pitstop to identify the original CAD scale? Has anyone found a faster way to fix drawings that are not to scale? Any help is appreciated.

Re: Incorrectly-Sized CAD Drawings
If you've got any sample files can you send them to me please?
I can then see if there is anything we can work with to identify the correct size.
