Tracing artwork

Post by Leogirl »

This may be the same question as earlier posted. How do you reduce the number of points when using "Make Trace Path". I can reduce the number of points in Illustrator but would like to stay in Pitstop .
Thank you
Angela

As I understand it by Andrews answer (in my thread) this cannot be done in the current version of pitstop. But if you can try (in Trace path Action) set a lower number in the 'Scan resolution (PPI)' you can get a smoother result in some cases. You can also experiment with the slider for 'Curve optimization'. Maybe Andrew can add a 'Simplify-path-slider' to the wish list for next Pitstop release? :)
