Stored Color Swatches Inspector

Post by dprinter »

Is there a way to remove or delete stored color swatches from the inspector?

Actually I don't think there is actually a delete or remove as such.
The idea would be you just replace them with a new one, which of course could be white which is really the same thing.

Can you explain why you need it, I can then write it up as a feature request.

As I am a novice user, (not a graphics designer) I have several "versions" of the same color and it has become confusing as to which "version" I really need to use. Changing them to white is an alternate fix which I hadn't thought of, thank you for that idea and your response to my post.

Selecting them and hitting delete would be a nice improvement! :-)

I cannot find a way to edit/change their appearance, once you store a swatch you're stuck with it

Create a new rectangle or select any line art in a PDF. Use the inspector to change its fill or stroke colour to white. Then click the swatch you want to remove so it is selected, and click the "Store Swatch" button.
