Post by GaryT »

Was wondering if anybody knows of any classes being help for Pitstop Pro. Or if anybody offers to come to my company for to train a group of people? Where can i find information on companies that provide this service?

Where are you based Gary?
If you let me know where in the world you are we can see if there is anybody local who offers training.

One thing that might be interesting for you are the monthly online customer workshops Enfocus are running.

Here's some information.

Since October last year Enfocus have been organising free monthly online training workshops for users of PitStop Pro and PitStop Server.

The great thing about these sessions is that our users set the agenda. In the past we have tackled topics like Preflight, Color Management, Action Lists and Smart Preflight. But we also don't ignore those little things that enable our users to get more out of our software, and help fix those annoying little PDF problem jobs that drive you crazy.

The sessions are held the same day and time every month. The first Wednesday of the month at 4pm Central European time and are timeboxed to 1 Hour.

Registration is required and the sessions are recorded and distributed afterwards to everyone who has taken the time to register, even if they can't make the live session.
You can now register once for a whole year of workshops. That's 12 hours of customized PitStop training! Here's the registration link for the sessions.

The next session is Wednesday 1st July and the topic for that session is
'Getting started with PitStop Pro'
4:00 pm Brussels - Europe Summer Time (GMT+02:00)
7:30 pm Mumbai - India Time (GMT+05:30)
10:00 am New York - Eastern Daylight Time (GMT-04:00)
7:00 am San Francisco - Pacific Daylight Time (GMT-07:00

We have customers from all over the world getting involved. In a previous session 46 countries were represented. Even those who can't make it in person can still get involved, you can request topics and email questions for discussion.

To support the sessions we also created an 'Official Enfocus PitStop user group' here on Linkedin which all PitStop users are welcome to join even if you are not interested in the workshops. You can view and request to join the group on here. https://www.linkedin.com/groups/Officia ... 1080/about

We add the links to the recordings and any Action Lists, Preflight Profiles or Sample files used in the sessions to the group so users have access to them and can use them at their leisure. It's also become a great place for discussion.

If you are a PitStop user and you'd like to learn more about the software and have a place where you can talk to other users to discuss production methods and techniques, why not apply to join the group?
