Insert a PDF into another based on finding specific text
Insert a PDF into another based on finding specific text
I want to search the PDF for a specific line of text ("Class:") and, when found, insert another PDF before that specific page.

You'll need PitStop 2019 for this.
Here's a couple of examples from one of my webinars. These are Action Lists.
One finds a text string and inserts a page based on that selection. The second finds a text string plus a color.
You'll need to edit the text string to be found, the page(s) you want inserted, and where you need them positioned (Before/After).

Re: Insert a PDF into another based on finding specific text
Thanks for this. I have Pitstop Pro 2018. I thought I would try it. 2019 must offer different choices in the "add pages" dialog? Attached is a .zip containing ClassTest.pdf and and SlipSheet_Orange_6.pdf. My goal is to insert the SlipSheet_Orange_6.pdf before each page that contains "Class:"

Had to check myself. We added two new options, Before and After Selected pages
That's why it now works. You select a page based on the text string, and then the add pages can now recognize that selection.
You can of course trial 2019 for 30 days if you want to give it a whirl?
