Javascript Actions

Post by rrdwitt »

I apologize if this is somewhere else, maybe I did not phrase this correctly.
Is there a way to create a javascript action? What I mean is, I have Acrobat 11 Pro, with
Pitstop Pro 12 update 3. It seems like it would be a simple action but I cannot see where to do it.

I have a Java action in Acrobat that simply deletes 1-2400 pages of a document, and creates and new
file with it. So, if I had a 28800 page PDF it automatically creates 12 separate PDFS. I have seen where
I can delete pages in pitstop, but it takes so long because it "selects all" "removes the info." then deletes the page.
Plus it does not create new files.

Thank you in advance

This is currently not possible in PitStop - like you said, Acrobat can already do it. You could probably use Switch with an Acrobat configurator to automate this process.
