CC 2017 Coming Soon!

Dear Connect users,
Soon (any day now), Adobe will be releasing updates to Illustrator and InDesign. Our testing on the release candidates show there are changes to their SDKs that will cause us to have to issue updates to the current Plug-ins for InDesign and Illustrator.

Our team is already working on the updates, but we'll have to test the final released builds before we can release our updated Plug-ins. It's the only way to ensure nothing else has changed. So there will be a few days delay from the release before the plug-ins will be updated.

Please keep this in mind when the updates are released. Also, if you use any other 3rd party plug-ins for these products, you may want to check with those companies too to ensure you're okay to take the update.

I will update the post here once we have released our updates.

Thanks!
Michael

An update. There are issues with both InDesign and Illustrator 2017 plug-ins for Connect. The Illustrator Plug-in will be available very soon (within about a week). InDesign will be a little longer due to some core changes in InDesign we have to adjust for. If you need either one, please let our support team know by emailing Support@enfocus.com and we'll make sure you get the latest plug-in as soon as they are available. Please be specific on the application and OS needed.

Thanks!
Michael

An update. We expect to make the new plug-in for Illustrator 2017 (MacOS/WIn32/Win64) in just a couple days. Also, we're in the final stages of testing. Also, the plug-in for InDesign 2017 MacOS is in Beta. If you're in need of any of these plug-ins, please email our Support (support@enfocus.com) and we can share a link to download.

Later (within the next 2 weeks) we'll have InDesign 2017 plug-ins completely done and ready. As I mentioned above, the MacOS version is in Beta now and Windows versions will follow soon. So, some delays with InDesign due to some changes from Adobe.

No matter what you need, if you're eager for the support, just drop our support staff an email (support@enfocus.com) and let them know what you need (be sure to include the platform) and we may be able to provide it sooner than we can post them.

Thanks!
Michael

Plug-ins are now available for Illustrator 2017 MacOS and Windows, and InDesign 2017 MacOS (only). InDesign 2017 for Windows will be another 1-2 weeks as it's requiring more work on our end. Drop us an email at Support@enfocus.com if you're eager for InDesign 2017 Windows and we'll make sure you're first to know.

As a quick update on the Windows Plug-in for InDesign 2017, it's in beta and if you need it, please email me directly at michaelr@enfocus.com and I'll send you a link to down it.

So you know, the MacOS version is already released and available from the Plug-in download page... so this is just for the Windows version.

Thanks!
Michael
