Connector Provide a File "Manifest"?

Post by rgpepper »

Unless I'm missing something, I see only a 1:1 between files dropped onto a connector, and the job ticket provided for that file. I'm wondering about the Connector providing a single job ticket, listing all files dropped in a given session. Any other way to do this beyond ZIP-compressing and then in Switch on the receiving end getting the listing within the archive?

Let me confirm something for you... but I wanted you to know I saw this.

Here's the answer... the key is the Delivery Tab option of "Allow non-PDF files". When this is enabled (and you can still restrict it to just PDFs), but with this enabled, when you drop multiple files on the Connector you will get the option to "Send as separate jobs" or "Send as one job". If you send as one job, then you get only one job ticket for all the files being sent.

Does this answer it for you? I believe support also followed up directly with specifics.
