USPS mail processing

Post by jrusso »

I was curious if anyone has had success automating VDP postcards using cleansed data from AccuZIP? Any insight you could share would be appreciated.

Thanks

Dwight from Apago has done some custom integrations with AccuZIP before. I used to use BCC to automate and clean mail lists using Switch.

Probably not a huge help but I found it pretty helpful to preflight databases out of Switch, which can be done with a tool like this https://github.com/shawmut/data-preflight
Free Switch scripts: open-automation @ GitHub
Free Switch apps: open-automation @ Enfocus appstore

I know for a fact that the DesignMerge configurator in combination with sorted file (no matter where the CSV comes from) can be used to create VDP jobs from templates. We had a recurring account I wanted to automate and had Meadows give me a demo using the actual files from the account.

Worked like a dream, so of course management decided to upgrade our old version of XMpie instead. And not buy any licensing that would allow for automation.
