Distiller & Switch

Hi
Is anybody else having trouble with using Acrobat Distiller in Switch flows.
This was working fine until recently (may be related to an Acrobat update) but now PS files error immediately.
The Switch messages says to check the log file but none is created. I thought it might be a security issue as Distiller stand alone kept asking for permission to distill any file. However I have now changed this in preferences but still no luck. By the way watched folders seem to work fine also.
Running Switch 2018 on windows.
Cheers James

May I ask why you use Distiller?

It is a very very outdated way of doing things.

Hi Jan

We only use distiller when cleaning up problem PDF's supplied by clients.
The Flow is designed to save PDF to postscript then re-distill and is not part of our standard workflow.

Hi Just to confirm this is not fixed by installing 2019 versions.
I have used the generic application/hot folder work around for now.
